Week 9: List the places you want to go

In a week where I was ill and not enjoying this module in my course, this list was a lifesaver. Especially when it started snowing again yesterday. I thought it was spring! So disappointed. Anyway, this list helped me focus on what is here that I can enjoy and what I can look forward to in the not too distant future and what I can look forward to in the very distant future.

There was a challenge included in this weeks list, challenging me to go somewhere this week, so since I'm already going to Glasgow for my cousins birthday, I put that down  and the other two are ones I've hoped to do for ages, go for a swim and go to the beautiful German Konditorei down the road.

Hope you have a lovely week!

The project this week...

... Is hammering! We're learning about silversmithing and making a copper cup. And oh my goodness it's so hard! I have blisters all over my hands and the left hand side of my body is all tense from being overworked! If I try and open a jar I practically fall over from the pain. But, that aside, there's something quite therapeutic about forcing metal into an unnatural shape for it.. Wonder what that says about me?! Anyway, here's some photos I've taken of the process as it's gone on.

Getting somewhere! Have a smashing weekend!.. Yeah sorry, bad joke.

Week 8: List your favourite albums

I'm having a not so well week this week, so this was a nice bit of fun and the brownie in the picture was the best thing that happened to me all day. Amazing. If you're around Edinburgh, go to The Chocolate Tree, it's amazing, and if you're a chocaholic like me, you'll thank me.

I found the albums hard to choose! Especially since I have a lot of favourite songs which come from albums that I'm not a huge fan of, as a whole. Buut, these are the ones that I love to come back to again and again. Also, It's definitely going to get added to, this is only a small portion!
Maple and pecan chocolate brownie- heavenly.
